I will show you an approachable way to learning yoga at beginner and intermediate levels. My classes incorporate guided and intuitive movement as well as breathing and mindfulness techniques.
I prioritize making you feel at home in your practice by offering modifications and variations to best fit your unique needs - whether your goal is to build the foundation for your practice or advance your skills to the next level.
My hope is that you can enjoy the many benefits of yoga while feeling supported and empowered within your practice.

My teaching style is concise and accessible, while also encouraging students to move with curiosity and playfulness as they listen to their own inner knowing and explore what’s accessible to them.
Taking a somatic approach, I guide students to focus on the sensations of poses within their body, as well as breaking down the key principles of alignment. I will always encourage you to adjust the pose to better fit your unique abilities, opposed to forcing your body into a pose you are not prepared to take on.
Yoga found it’s way into my life in 2014. After 8 years of practice, I can’t imagine what my life would be like without it! For me, yoga was a form of self-care and a way to cope with stress and anxieties in life by strengthening my connection to awareness. It also provided me an opportunity to improve my health by becoming more physically active - something I didn’t fully value until experiencing the benefits of yoga.
Now I prioritize growth as both a practitioner (like you) and an instructor of the practice. I hold a 200 Hr Registered Yoga Teacher Certificate and teach regularly at a local studio. I am a lifelong learner with the desire to encourage and support others on their journey too! I hope to share what I learn through my teaching and inspire you the way I have been inspired.
